***A windows operating system is required for Xactimate desktop & the new Xactimate online. Dual screens and mouse are recommended as attendees will need to view xactimate, the zoom session, and the digital workbook. Xactimate mobile is not covered in this course.***
 

Xactimate Level 2 Online Class

Increase your proficiency using Xactimate!  This two day course is for anyone who wants to dive deeper into Xactimate, prepare for Level 2 User Certification exam, or needs a refresh on Xactimate Level 2.  Previous experience using Xactimate is required. This class is perfect for self-taught users, attendees of our Level 1 course, or anyone who wants to build on their Xactimate skill.  Topics include; using reference areas and blocks, adding levels, estimating graphically, and more!

This is a live virtual class, conducted by an Xactimate Certified Trainer.  To get the most out of class, it is recommended that you have access to your own copy of Xactimate or a free demo.  You  may use Xactimate X1 Desktop or the New Xactimate Online in class. Xactimate Mobile is not covered in this course.

What Previous Xactimate experience is required?
This class is for users with experience using Xactimate. Whether you are self-taught, received training from a friend/coworker or have attended formal training, all are welcome. Attendees of our Level 1 Online class are also welcome as this is the next class in sequence.

What is the Class Schedule? (Class Times below are in Central Time)

8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Central Time daily*

Note: Please join 30 minutes early on day 1.

Instructor

Sean M. Burgess is an Xactimate Certified Trainer (XCT) and has experience writing estimates for both insurance and restoration companies, which proves a valuable reference for attendees on gaining practical, field based instruction.

Information is sent to each attendee how to best prepare for class, along with tips for participating in an online session. However, it is the responsibility of each attendee to prepare their computer in advance of class so they are ready to participate on day 1.

What do I need in order to attend?

  1. Stable internet connection
  2. Computer with Xactimate installed or access to Xactimate online (New Users: A free demo Xactimate is available through Xactware.)
  3. Headset with mic (or built-in computer mic and speakers)
  4. Webcam (Attendees are encouraged to have their webcam on during class presentation)
  5. Second screen/monitor & Computer Mouse (highly recommended)

Which version of Xactimate do I need for class?

The Instructor will spend the bulk of the class using Xactimate X1 Desktop.  However, Attendees may also attend using the New Xactimate Online.  Xactimate Mobile is not covered in this course.

Is the workbook included in course tuition?

Yes. Attendees of our Level 1 & Level 2 classes receive access to Xactware’s Xactimate Level 1 and Level 2 Workbook* (digital version), which is delivered via the Mimeo Digital App.  Note: Only one digital workbook per attendee, even if attending both the Level 1 & Level 2 classes.

*The Mimeo Digital can be accessed on any device (PCs, tablets, and smartphones) via your web browser or the mobile app. The Mimeo Digital mobile app is available for free download to Mimeo Digital customers and their audiences on the Apple App Store, Amazon Appstore for Android, MS Windows 10 Store, and Google Play.  While the digital workbook is not printable or available in a .PDF format, it is available across your devices via the Mimeo Digital app.   A printed version of the workbook is available for separate purchase directly from Xactware.

Is a Free Demo of Xactimate available?

Xactimate is a windows-based program. The New Xactimate online version requires the installation of Xactware Click Once and Xactimate Go Writer. These are windows based programs and do not run on a Mac OS.  Xactimate Mobile (IOS or Android) app is not covered in this class.

How do I register someone else?

During registration, you create an account for the attendee to access course information. If you are registering someone other than yourself, be sure to input the Attendee’s email address in the Create Account (username) field and distribute the password you input to the attendee. Also, input the Attendee’s email address in the Attendee info section.

How do I register multiple attendees?

If you are registering multiple attendees, input the number of registrations in the “Add to Cart” button.  In the Attendee section, input the information for one of the attendees.  Then, after Checkout is complete, send each Attendee’s information to: info@trainwatermark.com with “Multiple Attendees + Class Date”  in the subject line (e.g. “Multiple Attendees – March 12-14, 2024”).  Be sure to include each attendee’s;  First and Last name, contact info (email address, contact phone, etc.
